crontab
This tool runs entirely in your browser. The standard five-field cron format (Linux/Vixie cron) is supported; JAN-DEC and SUN-SAT names also work in the month and day-of-week fields. If you set both "day of month" and "day of week", cron convention runs the job when either one matches, not only when both do.
ABOUT

Build and explain cron expressions with a preview of the next runs

A cron expression has five fields (minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week), and a mistake means a job that never runs or runs every minute. This tool builds the expression from simple choices, explains it in plain language and previews the next runs (Gregorian and Jalali) so you can be sure before it goes into a crontab.

HOW TO

How to use it

  1. Start from a preset or set each field yourself.
  2. Check the plain-language explanation and the next runs.
  3. Put the expression in crontab -e or your CI config.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does */5 * * * * mean?
Every 5 minutes, every hour of every day.
What if both day-of-month and day-of-week are set?
In standard cron they are OR-ed: the job runs when either condition matches, not both.
Which time zone does cron use?
The system time zone (or CRON_TZ in some implementations); inside containers it is often UTC.
