ABOUT

Convert Unix timestamps to dates and back

A Unix timestamp counts seconds since 1 January 1970 (UTC) and appears in logs, JWT claims (exp, iat) and databases. This tool detects seconds versus milliseconds, shows the date in UTC or your local time and also supports the Persian (Jalali) calendar.

HOW TO

How to use it

  1. Enter a timestamp or pick a date.
  2. Choose UTC or your local time.
  3. Copy the Gregorian, Jalali or ISO 8601 form.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if it is seconds or milliseconds?
A 10-digit value (like 1760000000) is seconds, a 13-digit one is milliseconds. The tool detects it for you.
Why does the time differ from my clock?
A timestamp is always UTC. The difference is the time zone shown — Iran is UTC+3:30.
