ABOUT

Live DNS record lookup for any domain

When a domain does not reach your server, the first step is looking at its DNS records. This tool queries A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA and CAA records live and shows each record’s full value and TTL — useful for verifying DNS changes, email setup (SPF and DKIM live in TXT) and propagation. The query runs server-side and only the domain you enter is processed.

HOW TO

How to use it

  1. Enter the domain name.
  2. Choose a record type or all of them.
  3. Check values and TTL; the TTL tells you how long a change takes to propagate.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is TTL?
How long (in seconds) resolvers cache the answer. A high TTL means a change is seen later.
What is the difference between A and CNAME?
A maps a name to an IP; CNAME aliases one name to another and is not allowed at the zone apex.
